MERCEDES – BENZ SLS AMG
This modern sports car was inspired by the classic 300 SL Gullwing – in its heyday ranked one of the top five cars by Sports Car International. The wings of the Mercedes SLS AMG revive a myth of the 1950s (the era that saw the birth of the original model): the more a car looks like a bird or a rocket, the faster it goes. With its long beak, avid mouth and curious eyes, this car is always ready to fly down the road.
This classic model was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century. Round all over, from its doll’s-eye headlights to its short, well-proportioned trunk, the size, shape and “expression” of the Mini evokes a sort of tenderness. Who wouldn’t want to take care of a baby like this?
The Jeep Wrangler is undoubtedly one of the world’s most recognizable vehicles – its look and style has been synonymous with the brand for more than 30 years. With its characteristic vertical grill resembling a large, prominent mustache, the car is like a rugged rancher who bears up under the sun and dust of summer and collects ice on his whiskers in the winter. It’s the cowboy of the highway.
The confident smile and teasing eyes of the Corvette Z06 undoubtedly inspired Pixar to create Lightning McQueen, the protagonist of the animated blockbusters Cars and Cars 2. The cartoon racecar also flaunts a NASCAR aesthetic, with stickers, numbers and sponsor logos. This Corvette is a lively young car that loves speed and will never accept defeat.
