A torrent of surrealism by Mexican women artists floods São Paulo in one of the best exhibitions in recent memory. Running through January 10, 2016, the show features nearly 100 works by 16 artists, headlined by the most iconic and universal of them all: Frida Kahlo.
The spectacular space that hosts this exhibition bears the name of the influential Brazilian-Japanese artist who passed away early in 2015. The 81,000-square-foot facilities include seven exhibition halls that show the best in classic art and new trends. The institute also features educational spaces, archives, a bookstore and a restaurant.
