Let’s Go Out Tonight

It’s summertime in South America, and the weather is perfect for savoring the night. Sip a drink on a cool terrace,  immerse yourself in the sounds of top DJs, dance until dawn… the possibilities are endless. For this issue of in, we decided to showcase the top three nightspots in cities as diverse as Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Guayaquil, Lima,  Quito, Santiago and São Paulo. And we discovered that the competition is rather fierce, with some places standing out thanks to their original atmosphere, some for their snacks and cocktails, and others for music. Clearly there are many great places that make for a fantastic night on the town. We selected about 114 establishments in all, including bars, lounges and discos, as well as places that specialize in your favorite style of dance, be it tango, salsa, reggae or vallenato.

This month’s issue includes a visit to Quito’s historic downtown, with its impressive churches and colonial buildings. We also offer a tour of Italy, with stops in Venice, Florence, the Amalfi Coast and Chianti, near Siena. Finally, we spent a weekend in Amsterdam touring three premiere museums. Ever heard of Alqo Wasi Peruvian Dogwear? You’ll get a kick out of this canine haute couture in our Innovation section, which highlights the abundant creativity and entrepreneurship of our continent. This month’s interview? It’s a surprise…

Enjoy this issue of in and your trip, but most of all, have fun painting the town red!
