This issue celebrates our beloved men. The Latin American man. Sometimes chauvinistic, more or less liberal, entranced by the latest technology. Barbecuing every weekend, preserving the classic manners of a polite, respectful gentleman. Now we don’t assume that there’s a single prototype – that would be really boring! – so our guide features tips, products and ideas for a wide range of masculine lifestyles, from adventurers to homebodies, from intellectuals to playboys. Of course, the old adage still wears well – clothes do make the man – just take a look at our fashion feature, crammed full of advice to help you pack for your next trip.

Since golf and cars are two quintessentially male subjects, our travel features showcase golf courses in Colombia and a luxury car ride through Sicily. A visit to the Jesuit missions of Bolivia pays tribute to men who appreciate history and spirituality, and the port town of Valparaíso is an always-popular destination in Chile, for a taste of the sea and great architecture just a short drive from Santiago. Additionally, the Guayaquil neighborhood of Samborondón offers fine cuisine and quality stores.

Finally, since there is no harm in looking, we share an interview with the lovely actress Coté de Pablo and close with a glimpse of breakout Hollywood star James Franco, much to the delight of my fellow ladies. Enjoy your trip and this month´s issue of in Magazine.
